Cookie Diet achieved a strong position in the Australian market. To introduce Cookie Diet to the U.S. market and leverage the brand’s established success in Australia, they partnered with Reform Digital. Our team created a smashing email strategy that blended design, copywriting, and promotion alignment to show results! 

The brief emphasised the need for strategic email campaigns that would resonate with an American audience, fostering brand loyalty and encouraging sustainable growth. Reform Digital was tasked with crafting compelling email and SMS marketing messages that aligned with Cookie Diet’s brand ethos while appealing to the health-conscious, predominantly female U.S. market.

With a unique value proposition centred around specially formulated cookies that facilitate easy dieting, Cookie Diet built a solid customer foundation in Australia. Keen to replicate this success internationally, the brand eyed the U.S. market for expansion. The goal was clear: broaden their customer base, enhance brand recognition, and increase revenue streams by tapping into the American demographic.

Reform rolled out 4-6 email direct marketing (EDM) campaigns monthly, supplemented by 1-2 targeted SMS messages. Each campaign combined promotional offers with brand-building content, meticulously tailored to engage and expand the U.S. customer base. 

Through continuous refinement involving campaign strategy, design, and copywriting, coupled with consistent client feedback for promotional alignment, the campaign gained momentum. Over a few months, we developed a strong relationship with the client, making sure they were receiving data-driven insights and reports that guided our strategy. 

Key to these efforts was audience segmentation. We doubled down on retargeting efforts by isolating the most “warm” audiences. This encouraged repeat purchases, which directly improved revenue.  We also implemented split-testing and consistent personalisation to make sure strategies are guided by data-driven insights. This paved the way for a successful market entry and establishing the brand in a busy online space.
